Litigating change: training lawyers on the EU rule of law acquis

“Litigating change: training lawyers on the EU rule of law acquis” project aims to reinforce the Rule of Law in five EU Member States with marked deficiencies in this area, by empowering lawyers to apply effectively the EU RoL Acquis, including the relevant ECtHR and CJEU case law, in their litigation. The project will achieve this goal by training 345 lawyers and 30 trainers in Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Poland, and Romania. The project intervention will focus on four thematic areas that are a challenge to the rule of law in all target countries: judicial independence and access to justice; transparency and anti-corruption; freedom of the media and the press, including digital media; civic participation.
