Kozminski friendly to start-ups

An international, English-language guide for start-ups in Warsaw "Startup Guide Warsaw" has been published and includes a presentation of Kozminski University as a start-up-friendly university. In addition to educational institutions, the guidebook presents young successful companies, investors, advisors, places, and programs dedicated to startups in the capital city of Poland. Warsaw is already the 40th city in the international project, which previously included, among others, New York, Tel Aviv, London, Singapore, Munich, Johannesburg, and Tokyo.

The premiere of the book took place in Varso at Chmielna 73, where Venture Café Warsaw Foundation, the host of the event, operates. For three years now, every Thursday evening the foundation invites startups to its reception spaces and conference rooms in Varso. These meetings inspire and connect people from all over the world. The idea of connecting ideas and capital has also guided the creator of the idea for the guides, Sissel Hansen, from the beginning. On social media managed by #startupguide there is no shortage of offers, invitations to collaborate, and proposals to use coworking spaces around the world.

The startup movement is close to Kozminski University, which for many years hosted meetings on this topic within the Aula Polska project. We have the Kozminski Business Hub at our university, which is a consulting platform for startups and the organizer of Leothons, during which innovative business projects are born.
