Aleksandra Knap, secretary of Energy for a new world - Research Center has completed the first edition of the Hydrogen Academy.
The Hydrogen Academy (a.k.a. H2 Academy) is an educational program aimed at undergraduate and graduate students, with the top 30 scholarship recipients qualifying. Its purpose is to train and develop personnel specializing in hydrogen technology, to exchange knowledge among those interested in hydrogen.
The Hydrogen Academy is part of the Mazovian Hydrogen Valley initiative. The organizer is Orlen, and partners include Toyota, Pesa Bydgoszcz and universities: Lodz University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology and the Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences - KEZO. The academy included a series of lectures and workshops with experts and scientists from the hydrogen industry. Meetings were held at Warsaw University of Technology, Gdansk University of Technology, Lodz University of Technology, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Poland in Walbrzych, PKN Orlen in Plock, PESA Bydgoszcz, KEZO Jablonna, among others.
Aleksandra was the only representative of non-public universities during the H2 Academy. The 30-person group included representatives from such universities as Polytechnics: Lodz, Rzeszow, Warsaw and Gdansk Universities of Technology, AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Leon Kozminski Academy and the Technological University in Delf, the Netherlands. Among them were students and graduates of electromobility, energy, law, management and homeland security.
